Genesis Garage Doors

Our garage door got jammed half open this morning. We reached out to Genesis, and we had it fixed by the afternoon. Ronny was the service guy, he called and kept me updated on his ETA. He showed when he said he would, and then examined the problem, talked me through it clearly and concisely and gave me an estimate that they stuck too! He not only fixed the problem, but gave the whole system a little tune up and we got a second opener as well which we needed. Thanks!

Genesis responded promptly, and upon arrival, Ben surveyed the issue, explained the fix in layman's terms, quoted me a reasonable price to repair, and repaired it. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend Genesis and Ben. Thier good reviews are well deserved and earned.

My wife and I recently had our 20+ year old liftmaster chain drive die on us. As we use our garage quite a bit I started to look for licensed contractors and was immediately drawn to Genesis as they had many five star reviews. Within a couple minutes of my request I was contacted by Zach, even though it was fairly late in the day. On the phone I explained our situation and he told me that he could have his technician come out for a free diagnostic and discuss next steps. A few days later, Benjamin came out. We were initially impressed as he showed up on time and immediately begun the consultation. I'll be the first to admit, my wife and I were probably not the easiest customers. Our old liftmaster was over 20 years old and we wanted to be sure not only were we getting a quality product that would last as long, but also came with a good warranty. Benjamin was very patient with us as we discussed various models and other issues noted during the consultation. Ultimately we agreed on not only the garage door opener, but also adding an emergency key release and programmed clickers. We discussed pricing and agreed on the work to be performed. Benjamin then told us that he would have to get all the parts but could return Sunday morning to do the work. We agreed. Sunday morning rolled around and Benjamin showed up again, on time and ready to work. He told us it would be about 2 hours but everything should be running well. Two hours later the work was done and we loved it. Our garage door opener works great and despite being a chain drive is very quiet. Not only that, but we are happy knowing we have a quality liftmaster product that will last a very long time. The final bill came back with what we agreed on and overall we were very happy with the workmanship and the price. In a world where good contractors are hard to find I cannot recommend Genesis enough. Not only were they very professional and punctual, but they stood by their guarantee and made sure my wife and I were happy. Would definitely do business again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Wow. My garage door spring broke on a Sunday morning on a holiday weekend. Based on the great reviews, requested a quote through Yelp. I expected it would take a couple of days (at least until after New Year's) to get someone to come out and take a look at things, but boy was wrong! Got an immediate response from Zack with a rough estimate. Benjamin was at my place in about 1.5 hrs. He diagnosed the problem, gave me a very reasonable final price to replace both springs (with 1 yr warranty on parts/labor), and got right to work. Time from Yelp request to completion, less than 3 hours!!! Unbelievable.

These guys were great from the start! Zach was super responsive and provides a really quick turnaround time. They came on same day and within an hour and a half of contacting them. They noted they d be here by 6 and were early. Benjamin was super professional. Found I had a broken spring and quoted me the cost of the total job which was cheaper then other quotes I received.
